The Configurator Series: Lamborghini Aventador S

Updated: Nov 21, 2020

Everyone who is a car guy will have that one car, that dream car, which they would instantly buy if they won the lottery today. It's fun to dream and a manufacturer's online configurator is a great tool!

So here at The Crbn Fbre Comp we decided to create our own digital 'poster car' to motivate ourselves for that future "I've finally saved enough" day.

Welcome to our new blog series, "The Configurator", building different specs and dream cars using various manufacturer configurators.

And to kick off with a bang, we start at Lamborghini with the Aventador S!

Being a Lamborghini fanboy, I have always held that view that a Lambo should be spec'd with the classic Arancio/Giallo (look at me) paintwork. Yellow or Orange to the rest of us, non paint nerds. But times have changed and with the new models being produced at Sant'Agata, yellow or orange aren't the only appealing colours these days.

With my spec I have gone for Oro Elios.... Looks like gold but not OTT, too much gold, gold. A metallic paint colour that looks strong, shines and gives the original, fresh paint look that matte and satin colours sometimes don't show (imo).

The Alloys I chose were Forged Dianthus instead of the stock Dione Forged wheels, giving me more spokes, a blacked out look and the option to colour the Lamborghini centre cap in red.

The contrast of the black wheels against the gold like paintwork, goes perfectly and the red centre cap gives it that special look.

My interior is simple, an Aventador is always a special place to be and the standard option of a full alcantara cabin with Giallo stitching is simple but still supercar worthy.

Carbon Fibre is our thing and of course an upgrade to include the bonnet, engine cover, engine bay and struts was a no brainer.

So here it is the Lamborghini Aventador S in Oro Elios with Dianthus Forged 20/21" alloys wheels, red centre lock, red brake caliper, sportivo alcantara interior trim and the Carbon Fibre upgrade package.

Absolute dream car or should I have gone for the Roadster?
