The Carbon Kit Chronicles - Pt 3: Front Lip

Following on from Pt 2 of the Chronicles where we looked at the Carbon Fibre Rear Diffuser, today's edition looks at the Carbon Fibre Front Lip.

These Chronicles have followed a sequence where we tackle the kit parts that we think have the most impact from Pt 1 up to now.

Carbon Fibre Rear Spoiler > Carbon Fibre Rear Diffuser > Carbon Fibre Front Lip

This isn't to say that a Front Lip doesn't have a strong impact, it does, but more that a Rear Spoiler and a Rear Diffuser can really stand out as your first few modifications.

When we talk about about Carbon Kits, we are looking at subtle enhancements that improve the look of the car and a Front Lip plays a great part.

For the 4 Series Coupe and Convertible models we have the FD Style Carbon Fibre Front Lip which brings a great contrast to the paintwork with the premium, Gloss Carbon Fibre Lip. Covering some of the bumper and not all enhances the point of the contrast.

Taking a step up to the BMW M4, we have the M Performance Front Lip (without the Carbon Fibre Canards) again providing a great contrast to the paintwork and a premium look. The gloss on the Carbon Front Lip gives the same type of shine as the paintwork, making sure to match the whole design of the face of the car.

Choosing the Carbon Fibre Canards can complete the look if you want to add more Carbon to the front bumper.

These modifications add a more premium design to the front of your car, breaking up the paintwork with a different colour and matching the grill's design.

Matching the black alloys and complimenting the paintwork are the reasons why the Carbon Fibre Front Lip make up Pt 3 of our kit Chronicles!
