There seems to be a reoccurring theme here and I guess you sense what it is as the series has been littered with top of the model range, Lamborghini supercars!
We thoroughly enjoyed the V10s which are still up for sale and for those with the money go even bigger, have a snoop today at this big, 6.5 litre, Murci sized V12!
The SV was the "I'm going out with a bang" edition of the Murciélago and represented the last variant before the Aventador took the position of flagship model for the Italian marque.
A 6.5l V12 engine produced 661hp at 660Nm of torque and pushed this car from 0-62mph in just 3 seconds. The Murci LP670 SuperVeloce is the super light version of LP640 and as we love to see here at The Crbn Fbre Comp, the design and mods are absolutely stunning.
The paintwork here is Grigio Telesto with the orange used as a contrast on the SV logo and the brake calipers. The air intake sat just behind the side skirts is furnished in what looks like matte carbon, making this collection of matte carbon intakes, gloss black SV wheels and Grigio Telesto paintwork a perfect combination.
The carbon fibre wing mirrors do the job required in being understated but the same cannot be said of the rear wing. The carbon fibre rear wing is essentially mounted across the entire rear of the car, with the struts starting as low as the rear diffuser and even lower than the tunnel like exhaust exit.
The form of the rear wing is unique in its rugid and mechanical like design as the gaps within the wing mounts really give off an industrial feel that suits the kind of look the SV is going for. Super aggressive, super powerful and super light but with the type of form that lets you know, even in the supercar category, this is a class apart from the rest.
Scissor doors are like tradition on a V12 Lambo and the Murci SV is no different. This big V12 is a dream for most and for those who have the funds, piloting a car like this will feel intimidating and at the same time feel like handling a weapon.
The interior is of course adorned with plenty of carbon and alcantara as harness seat belts really give the impression of something special and something akin to a race car despite its size.
This particular Murciélago SV is for sale at VVS, a specialist in Italian supercars and with a long stocklist of Lamborghinis. These cars are of course extremely rare and part of our enjoyment here is to highlight these gems and appreciate the design and the power that these supercars have.
What are your thoughts on the spec and this car in particular? Let us know in the comments section what you think and of course check out VVS' website if you are one of the few in the market for a dream car like this!
